perhaps it comes as no surprise to find that healthier people are happier than those who aren't as healthy. in fact, a 2006 report published by the pew research center found that 48 percent of people who rated their health as “excellent” described themselves as “very happy”, while only 15 percent of those who rated their health as “poor” said the same.

after all, it's harder to be happy when living with chronic pain or illness or when faced with a potentially life-threatening condition.while health is strongly tied to happiness, lack of health is even more strongly correlated with lack of happiness. of those who rated their health as “poor,” a whopping 55 percent described themselves as “not too happy,” while only 6 percent of those in “excellent” health said the same.

according to the pew research center, health—along with religion and marriage—were among the strongest predictors of happiness, even when adjusting for a variety of other variables.

some people prefer wealth, holding that money can not bring everything, but without it, one can do nothing. in order to accumulate more money they can do anything. however, other people regard health as more important. once health is lost, it is no use having a lot of money.

as far as i am concerned, i love wealth, but i value health more. everybody wants to live a happy life. so they try their best to earn money which can ensure they lead a comfortable life, but if happiness and comfort are achieved at the cost of their health, how can they be happy? without health money becomes meaningless.

in my opinion, no one agrees that a wealthy person without good health can be happy. so, just do our best to keep healthy.

our healthy is the only things we really have in the world. you can take away our money, our house, or our clothes and we can survive. take away our health and we will die. that is why i eat healthfully, exercise regularly, and keep up my social life.

eating healthfully is important to maintain one’s health. i try to avoid foods high in fat like french fries or cookies. i also try to limit the amount o f animal protein i consume. i never eat more than a few ounces of fish or chicken a day and i rarely eat meat. i eat a lot of vegetables and fresh fruit which are full of fiber and vitamins. it is important to know how to cook these foods so the nutrients are not lost in the cooking process.

your muscles must continue to be strong to support your body as it grows older. exercise helps the bones build density and helps you maintain your posture. a regular exercise program of cardiovascular training and weight training is an important part of keeping you healthy.

friends are an important part of one’s health. studies have shown that people with a wide range of social contacts get fewer colds and have fewer complaints than those who don’t. laughing is also an important part of health. i like to laugh with my friends and i always feel better when i am with them than when i am alone.

by eating properly and exercise regularly, i can keep my body at an appropriate weight and can maintain my health. by spending time with my friends, i can keep my mind as well as my body happy. it’s all part of my recipe for healthful living.

走进医院,去探望我的外婆,她的身体不怎么好,得了糖尿病。当我们来到她面前时,看见她面黄肌瘦的样子,真是看在眼里,疼在心头呀!我外婆年轻时为了赚钱,把身子给搞坏了!现在,她后悔的很呢!她现在失去了健康,无论用再多金钱也买不回来了,虽然她现在是挺富有的,可是那还有什么用!能把健康给再买回来吗?我常常想:唉,大人赚那么多钱来干什么呢?只要够用就行了呀!到时候把身子给累垮了,这又怎么办呢!可真搞不懂大人的心思呀!我感觉有些人就是为钱而活着的,世界上的`一切事物他都不感兴趣。现在健康的我,是多么开心呀!我觉得,把健康跟金钱比,我要的不是钱而是健康!我现在快乐地生活着,因为健康陪伴着我,它陪伴着我读完一年又一年的书,有了健康,我就会开心得过着世界的每一天!我希望人类不要失去健康这一位好伙伴,失去了这个伙伴,那么人类就会后悔一辈子的!其实,健康也是一笔很大的财富哦!不过它是一种精神上的财富。不过,它是比金钱更重要的,可不要小看它哦!你假如失去了健康,你一定会很后悔的!
